Each measurement data format is automatically recognized using pattern matching and characteristic fingerprints. This allows metadata to be extracted directly from acquisition and raw data files without manual intervention. Our library of supported data formats is continuously expanding to accommodate new instruments and workflows. This procedure is described here.
