Installation of Bash Tool Scripts
print icon

The bash tool script collection provides a convenient way to perform common tasks in the (SSH) console, such as updating LOGS or creating DB backups. Newer installations automatically install this script collection in /opt/logs/scripts, so it is worth checking if it is already on your system before proceeding.

sudo curl -Ls https://install.logs-sciy.com/bashtools | bash

You are requested to enter a decryption passphrase. If you recently ordered LOGS then you should have received an e-mail with your license activation key and the decryption passphrase for the installer script. Otherwise please contact our support team ([email protected]) to receive the passphrase.  Please note, that these bash tools are designed and tested for Ubuntu 24 LTS and might not work as expected on other systems.

After installation, it is recommended to update regularly by running:

sudo bash /opt/logs/scripts/updateScriptsViaGithub.sh
