Installation of Bash Tool Scripts

The bash tool script collection provide a convinient way to perform common tasks in the (ssh) console like updating LOGS or creation of DB backups. Newer installations automatically installs this scripts collection in /opt/logs/scripts so ith worth checking if its already on your system before proceeding. To install the bash tool script collection run the following command and follow the on-screen instructions.

 

sudo curl -Ls https://install.logs-sciy.com/bashtools | bash

 

You are requested to enter a decryption passphrase. If you recently ordered LOGS then you should have received an eMail with your license activation key and the decryption passphrase for the installer script. Otherwise please contact our support team ([email protected]) to receive the passphrase.  Please note, that this bash tools are designed and tested for Ubuntu 24 LTS and might not work as expected on other systems. 

 

Once installed, its with checking regularly for updated version by running:

 

sudo bash /opt/logs/scripts/updateScriptsViaGithub.sh
