What happens if the licence expires?

To ensure a secure and transparent transition at the end of the licence period, the following exit strategy outlines the conditions for data access and retrieval.

Read-Only Access Period

Upon termination of the licence, the customer will retain access to LOGS software in a read-only mode. During this period, data upload will be disabled. Only read access is permitted. For SciY hosted  LOGS servers the read-only mode is valid for a period of six (6) months.

Data Retrieval Options

a) The customer may download their data independently using a Python script provided by SciY.

b) Alternatively, SciY offers a paid service to export and deliver the data to the customer.

c) All data transfers will comply with applicable data protection and security regulations and will be conducted via secure channels.

Access Control and Security

The existing access control and permission model will remain in effect during the read-only period. Only authorized users will be able to access the data according to their assigned roles and privileges.

Technical Implementation

The software supports data export via a REST API and a Python interface suitable for automated pipelines. The use of the Python script is at the client’s own discretion. Technical documentation will be provided.
